Education of a different kind

In Sabah, some rural communities are well known for turning out exquisite handicraft. The Rungus and Lotud communities, for example, are known for their beautiful cloth and bead work. Sadly however, fewer and fewer young people are interested in learning handicraft making to keep the tradition alive, even though handicraft making is a lucrative industry, earning over RM30 million in 2012.
